Hi everyone. Thanks for come.
Today will be talk about how I found a proposal for design innovation considering the functionality of my design.
The story started when I focused my direction project fitting into the initial briefing of offering a new sensation of driving. Since then I've tried to discover a new way to give pleasure to drive without using the speed appeal (it's a traditional and effective appeal nowadays), but with a problem that many people drive a car today in the big city traffics, and many of them want more honest designs for their lives, that could fit in the real life situations.
That was the challenge: pleasure and emotion in low speed?
Sensation of speed varies a lot, 30km/h in a luxury sedan doesn't has the same effect in comparison if you are in a bycicle, for many reasons as weight, size, tires, suspension, sound isollation, etc. Since I became student at Master here in Germany, I am using bicycle as transportation meaning for many of my activities, including going to studio everyday. With this experience, I remembered a sensation that I forgot using car: making curves with motorbikes or bycicles even in low speed is quite good! Eureka! Why not??
Then I start to study posibilites of a best way to apply this motion in a vehicle. The 3-wheeled came to improve this movement without problems to package preview. And the use of memory flexible polymers to make the "legs" of car, distorting to make curves as human legs and knees during ski (it was my inspiration in how to build it in a car) had a intention to make it much more "humanized".
I thought in sliding wheels (that after four months was shown by a Nissan's concept), but distorting it would be less "machine language" and more "human reaction".
That's it. The way I found the function of MyMotion.
See you all.

the first time I saw this project (the video) I could feel this "Ski Motion".. now, reading the concept, it became much more interesting! Very well thought!
